These terms are the agreement between you and Socio Connect LLC for using Sugar Shove. By playing, you accept them. If you do not, do not use the app.
Sugar Shove is a social poker game played with virtual chips.
Chips have no monetary value. They are a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use a feature of the game. They are not money, not currency, not a deposit, and not property. They cannot be exchanged for cash, prizes, goods, or anything else of value, inside the app or outside it. There is no cash-out and there never will be.
Sugar Shove is not gambling and is not a real-money gaming service. Nothing you win can be redeemed for anything. Practice or success at this game does not imply future success at real-money gambling.
The app asks for your date of birth before you can play. You must be at least 18. If we find an account belongs to someone under 18 we will close it.
You may play as a guest, or link an Apple or Google sign-in so you can reach your account from another device. A guest account exists only on the installation that created it. If you delete the app without linking a sign-in method, that account and its chips are gone and we cannot recover them.
You are responsible for what happens on your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. One person, one account. Do not share an account, sell one, buy one, or run more than one at the same table.
Chips may be offered for sale through the Apple App Store or Google Play. When they are:
You can limit your own spending at any time in Settings → Play limits: cap what you can spend in a day, hide the store entirely, or take a break. A break cannot be undone or shortened. That is deliberate.

You can mute, report or block any player from their seat at the table. We review reports, and we may warn, mute, suspend, or permanently ban an account, and remove or withhold chips obtained by cheating. Serious cases are actioned without warning.
Chips are not refunded when an account is suspended or banned for breaking these terms.

You keep ownership of what you write. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display and transmit it as far as running and moderating the game requires. You are responsible for what you post, and you confirm you have the right to post it.
The game is not available everywhere, and we may make it unavailable in a country at any time, including one you are travelling in. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service, or the whole service, at any time. If we shut the service down, chips are not refunded — they never had monetary value.
You may stop at any time and delete your account in Settings → Delete account. Deletion is permanent, chips are forfeited, and it cannot be undone.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or where we are required to by law.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind about it, including that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or free of errors.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Socio Connect LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost chips, lost progress, or lost data. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or twenty-five US dollars.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow some of these exclusions, in which case they do not apply to you and you may have additional rights.
We may update these terms. The date at the top will change. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to play after that means you accept the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. If you are a consumer, this does not remove the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in your local courts.
This agreement is between you and Socio Connect LLC, not with Apple or Google. They are not responsible for the app or for support of it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
